“At John Wesley Dobbs, we grow greatness each and every day.”

John Wesley Dobbs Elementary School is committed to developing lifelong learners who are confident, competent, contributing members of society. Through challenging learning opportunities we will prepare our students to be high achievers, whose academic achievement is comparable to or exceeds the national average.

Our school continues to hold high academic and behavioral expectations for students and as well as for ourselves.  As a community, we will further these goals by working together to establish a culture of shared beliefs and practices, providing quality instruction that is based on current research and best practices. All children can learn, and we have the tremendous responsibility to make sure this happens for each and every child.  We take this responsibility very seriously, and believe that all students have the potential to succeed.
