Reading With the Cougars - Entire Year
Intrinsic Reward: Love of Reading
COME OUT AND LISTEN TO or READ WITH or READ TO OUR STUDENTS!                           
Students are provided with 10-15 minutes, to read for FUN! Students are provided with time to read by themselves, independently; read "with" a buddy/peer, teacher, parent, or volunteer; read "to" a buddy/peer, teacher, parent, or volunteer; listen to a book on CD/tape/Internet. 

AR: Accelerated Reader - Entire Year
Students should read or hear an AR book read often, by himself or herself or with someone. Review the AR book’s content and take a picture walk, before taking an AR test. The student’s password is their birth date (MMDDYY).

Fast Break For Reading
Atlanta Hawks – Fast Break for Reading - August through February
Ticket and other incentives received periodically throughout the year.
Students will need to document 25 books from various genres.

Pizza Hut – Book It! - October through March
FREE Monthly Personal Pan Pizza for Students, who meet a reading goal, set by the classroom teacher. Yummy!

AtlantaFalcons-ReadWithAFalcon Atlanta Falcons – Read with a Falcon - During the Falcon’s Season
With the click of a mouse, students can take part in a special story time with Falcons cheerleaders and players including Keith Brooking, Roddy White and Matt Ryan. The online reading program lasts all season long, so kids should get permission to log onto the website throughout the season to “Read with a Falcon!"

Book Adventure
Book Adventure - Entire Year
Book Adventure is a FREE reading motivation program for children in grades K-8. Children create their own book lists from over 7,000 recommended titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they've read, and earn points and prizes for their literary successes. Book Adventure was created by and is maintained by Sylvan Learning.

SixFlagsSix Flags 600 Minute Club -  December - March
Read to Succeed is a FREE program from Six Flags that encourages kids to read for fun (at least 600 minutes). It includes lesson plans and the Six Hour Reading Club. Students in grades K-6 at participating schools can earn free admission tickets to Six Flags.
