Many of you I have not met yet, however I am hopeful to do so in the near future. I write to just alert you to a couple of HR information systems changes that are going to occur that will affect you. Some of you may be aware that we have been using an outdated version of Taleo for some time. We have been doing so because of our plan to move to the Lawson Talent Acquisition (TA) suite in the very near future. Unfortunately, the Taleo vendor will not allow us to stay on the current version of Taleo and thus we must upgrade it in lieu of turning in Lawson TA beginning in January 2014. Unfortunately this means that you will have two changes that will occur in the new future with the upgrade to Taleo and the start of Lawson TA. We know that this is not ideal and to mitigate this problem our plan is to move completely to Lawson TA by February 1, 2014. However, for the month of January 2014 we will run both suites to assure Lawson TA has a backup in place. This plan will entail you using Lawson TA for non-instruction positions and Taleo for Instructional positions just for the month of January 2014. We will be using the upcoming weeks to give you a demo and train you in Lawson TA so that you will be prepared for its launch.
For the moment, please be advised that the Taleo (Applicant Tracking System)/ Career Connections, is experiencing a system up-grade and will be down from Friday, December 6, 2013- Saturday, December 7, 2013. During this time you will be unable to access the system.
If you have any concerns, please contact the Human Resources Customer Service Center at 404-802-2300 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work to provide effective, efficient service every day!
